Anna Chlumsky
Anna Chlumsky, an American actress with acclaim became famous by playing a child in the film My Girl 2 and its sequel'. The lead roles she played continued to delight audiences in movies like "Trading Mom" as well as "Gold Diggers: The Mystery of Bear Mountain". She won several awards for her work during these films in the beginning of her career. The girl, who always was a bit distant from her peers in school when filming became disengaged from the world of showbusiness during her teens. She started to lose interest in performing and focusing on her education. Though she wanted to be the food writer, she ended up working as a fact-checker in Zagat's guide to eating out. The next position she had at HarperCollins as an editing assistant turned out to be miserable. Following her decision to get back to acting upon the recommendation of a professional agent, she took classes to sharpen her skills. Soon after, she was able to be cast as Liza in "In the Loop" and began appearing as a character in Off Broadway productions. While she is unsure of what might have happened if she had been more focused on acting, it is an excellent thing she did not.
